Audio Support for an Indoor Presentation and Seated Program
We provided audio support for an indoor presentation and seated program, so guests in every row could hear the presenter.

Indoor presentation · May 6, 2026
What the organizer needed
If the back rows can't hear, the slides lose half their value. In this hall, the room itself worked against the presenter.
The event on May 6, 2026, was a seated presentation. One speaker stood on a stage with a large screen behind. The audience sat in rows in front, and a second seated area sat off to the side. The hall had high ceilings and hard surfaces, the kind of room where sound bounces and fades.
The task was simple to state: every row, in both seating areas, had to hear the presenter clearly. For larger programs with sessions and breakouts, see our conference planning services.

Speakers where the guests sat
You get sound placed around your audience, not only at the stage. For this program we set up:
- Speakers along the seating. Powered speakers on tripod stands, placed along the main seating area.
- Side seating coverage. More speakers on stands for the separate seating zone.
- Cabling. All the runs between the speakers and the sound source.
- Sound check. A full check of the system before any guest sat down.
- The audio carried both the presenter's voice and the sound from the slides on the main screen.
Setting up before the doors opened
Where the speakers stand decides who hears the talk.

Tripod stands kept the speakers above the heads of the seated guests. Placing them along the rows, instead of only at the stage, put sound closer to the people at the back and at the side.
How the program sounded
Guests in every row followed the talk without straining to hear.

The presenter came through clearly across the full seating area. Guests listened and watched the slides on the screen at the same time.

These shots show where the speakers stood relative to the audience and the stage.

Questions about presentation audio
How do you handle a room with high ceilings and hard walls?
Send us the room size, the ceiling height and the seating plan. We plan the number of speakers and where they stand before the event day.
Do you run a sound check before the event?
Yes. We finish the setup and the sound check before guests take their seats.
Can you plan the whole meeting, not only the sound?
Yes. We plan meetings and conferences from start to finish, with the AV as one part. See our meeting planning services.
Do you work outside Los Angeles?
Yes. Los Angeles is one of our two bases, and Orlando is the other. We bring AV equipment and technicians anywhere in the U.S.
Tell us about your room
Send the date, the venue and the seating plan. We'll reply right away with availability and get you a quote in minutes. One team delivers the sound and takes it down after the program. Include the event type, date, city, expected guest count and budget. Add the room size, ceiling height if you know it and the number of seating areas. Or call +1 213 912 1010
