What Event Collective needed

A demo day is the moment families see what students learned, and the best way to show flying is to let them try it. Event Collective came to us with that idea.

Event Collective Inc. organized a student demo day on October 8, 2026, at Paramount Event Venue in Morrisville, North Carolina, in the Raleigh area. Parents came to see what their children had learned in flying lessons.

The organizer wanted a direct way for families to try the flying theme themselves. The venue was on the other side of the country from Los Angeles, where the simulator was.

For more school and campus formats, see our page on event entertainment for schools and colleges.

A complete station from across the country

You book one station and get everything it needs, wherever your venue is. For the Morrisville demo day, we brought:

  • Flight simulator. The cockpit station, delivered to Paramount Event Venue.
  • 55-inch display. One large screen so families could watch each flight.
  • Flight software. Loaded and tested on site before the first guest.
  • Operator. Our operator stayed at the station and helped every guest, child or adult.
  • The organizer had one contact for the whole job: transport, setup and operation.

Install, test and back up the connection

Event Collective knew the station would be ready before families arrived, because we built in time for installation and testing.

  1. Step 1: 10 AM

    • Venue access started, and we began installation.
    • Testing. We ran test flights with time to spare.
    • Connection. The venue's Wi-Fi was our main connection, and we brought our own hotspot as a backup.
  2. Step 2: 4 PM to 6 PM

Families took turns at the controls

The station worked for every age in the room.

Guests from about six years old to adults over forty took turns at the controls. Our operator adapted each flight to the guest's age.

Delivery, installation and operation all ran to plan inside the two-hour event. About 60 guests were expected at the event. We didn't record a session count.
