Plan corporate events in Portland with photo booths and simulators at Oregon Convention Center shows, Washington County campuses and Pearl District lofts.

Portland's big rooms sit on the east side of the Willamette, and each one has its own freight and power rules. Planning at a winery, a Columbia Gorge lodge or a hotel downtown? Send the venue name and we'll check power, doors and the loading route.
Oregon Convention Center
The Lloyd District landmark with twin spires has 255,000 sq ft of column-free exhibit halls and the 35,000 sq ft Portland Ballroom, the largest ballroom in the city. Trucks load at 18 bays and 3 drive-in ramps on NE First Avenue.
Hyatt Regency Portland
The 600-room hotel opened next to the convention center in December 2019. It takes the dinners, breakouts and after-parties of an OCC conference without a shuttle.
Portland Expo Center
Out in Kenton at the end of the MAX Yellow Line, it has 330,000 sq ft of exhibit space. Hall E alone covers 108,000 sq ft under a 30 ft ceiling, room enough for a driving zone with several racing simulators.
Moda Center and the Rose Quarter
The Trail Blazers' arena seats 19,393 for basketball. Club spaces and plazas around it suit a client night on a game evening.
Pearl District lofts and galleries
Converted warehouses here host launch parties and awards dinners. Many have freight elevators, and we measure them before we book a station.
Book early for spring and late summer, when the convention center runs one big show after another.
Most surprises in Portland come from the weather and the fire marshal's deadlines, so we plan both from the first call.
Rain
Portland gets about 37 inches of rain a year, mostly from fall to spring. The dry window runs from mid-June to early September. Outside that window, every outdoor station gets a tent or a covered patio.
Tent permits
The Fire Marshal's Office permits any tent over 700 sq ft. The application goes in at least 21 days before use, and a late one can cost double. The tent must stand 20 ft or more from a combustible wall.
Assembly permits
A tent, warehouse or parking garage with more than 49 guests needs a public assembly permit. The same rule applies to a fenced outdoor party. Inside an assembly building, the trigger is a room load over 500, and the floor plan is due 21 days ahead.
Parks
A Portland park permit asks for $2,000,000 in liability coverage and an additional insured endorsement. With stages or booths, a site plan goes in 60 days before move-in. Amplified sound may need a separate noise permit.
Oregon Convention Center
OCC won't accept or ship exhibitor freight, so it goes to your show decorator. Booth power comes only through Edlen, and internet through OCC Technology Services. Oregon has no right-to-work law, and your show's labor rules come from the exhibitor kit. We read it before we book trucks.
The part of town you choose decides how guests get there and how our truck gets in.
Portland's largest employers each plan a different kind of event, and we match the format to the crowd. As your corporate event planner in Portland, we book the venue, plan the program and run every station on the day, under one contract.
Every service below comes from the same crew, so stations, screens and staff arrive on one truck schedule.
A booth fits a winter party in a Pearl District loft or a spring conference at OCC. We bring an AI photo booth or a 360 booth with your branding and an attendant. See how our photo booth rental works.
We plan simulator races and challenge formats in a hall, or on a campus lawn in summer. Read about our corporate team building programs.
Racing simulator rental in Portland suits a sales kickoff at the Expo Center or a booth at OCC. We also bring flight and surf simulators, VR stations and AV rental in Portland with technicians for screens and sound. Browse all interactive event rentals.
Yes. We have two bases, Los Angeles and Orlando, and work across the U.S. We plan corporate events in Seattle and corporate events in San Francisco on the same roadshow schedule, with one quote.
Yes, over 700 sq ft, and a tent with more than 49 guests also needs a public assembly permit, with the deadlines from the rules above. We draw one floor plan that works for both applications.
No. OCC doesn't accept exhibitor freight, so your booth goes through the show decorator. Our stations travel on our own truck and unload at the NE First Avenue docks during your assigned move-in slot.
Mid-June to early September is the dry window. A June date competes with the Rose Festival for hotels and downtown streets, so July and August are easier. Outside summer, we plan a covered fallback for every station.
The coverage and endorsement the city wants are in the park rules above. We send our insurance documents on request, so the park can review them together with your event policy.
Yes. We confirm power, dock access and badge rules with the campus facilities team before the event. Guests flying in can take the MAX Red Line from PDX to Beaverton and Hillsboro.
Every Portland event gets a custom quote. It depends on the venue, the stations and hours, any OCC power order through Edlen, tent and assembly permits and travel. Read how we quote, then send your brief.
Send us the date, the venue and the guest count. We'll check the fire permit deadline, the venue's dock rules and our calendar, and reply right away.
