Amazon is Seattle's largest private employer, and Microsoft runs its headquarters in Redmond. Engineers like a contest, so a racing simulator leaderboard or a VR challenge works at a hackathon close or a release party.

Plan corporate events in Seattle that fit the convention center's union rules and the rainy months. We bring simulators, photo booths and AV to downtown, South Lake Union or the Eastside.

Seattle's large venues are vertical and tightly packed, so floor loads, elevators and dock times shape the plan as much as the guest count. Holding the event on your own campus or at a hotel not listed here? Send us the address and we'll check power, space and the loading route.
Seattle Convention Center
Two buildings work as one: Arch on Pike Street, open since 1988, and Summit on Pine Street, open since January 2023. Summit alone has 573,770 sq ft and is the first high-rise convention center in the U.S., with a 58,000 sq ft column-free ballroom.
Lumen Field Event Center
In SoDo, next to the stadium, it offers 280,000 sq ft of indoor exhibit space, and the Main West Hall covers 165,000 sq ft. It suits large expos and company-wide parties.
Hyatt Regency Seattle
With 1,260 rooms it's the largest hotel in the Pacific Northwest, and it has 103,000 sq ft of meeting space next door to Summit.
Meydenbauer Center
Its 36,000 sq ft column-free hall is the largest in Bellevue, close to the Eastside offices of the tech firms.
Chihuly Garden and Glass
At Seattle Center, the Glasshouse seats 270 for dinner or holds 700 for a reception, and a full buyout takes up to 1,500 guests.
Plan your booth or client event around these dates, when Seattle's halls and hotels fill with the same crowd you want to reach.
Washington's rules differ from most Western states, and planning for them early protects your schedule and your budget.
Union labor
Washington is not a right-to-work state. IATSE Local 15 represents stagehands and live event workers in Western Washington. Expect union crews on most show floors, with exact limits set in each show's exhibitor manual.
Your own contractor
The convention center lets exhibitors hire their own installation and dismantling contractor. Each worker badges in with photo ID, and access is set up through the official decorator.
Exclusive services
Aramark serves all food and drink. Edlen supplies electrical, air and water, and Encore handles rigging in the ballrooms. We order power for each station through Edlen.
COI
Your certificate must name the Washington State Convention Center Public Facilities District as additional insured. With no certificate on file 45 days out, the center may buy coverage and bill you. We send our insurance documents on request.
City permits
The Special Events Office takes applications through Eproval at least 90 days ahead. Late fees start inside 60 days, and the office may reject an application inside 45. An event with 1,000 or more guests needs a safety plan.
Tents and heaters
The Seattle Fire Department requires a permit for a tent over 400 sq ft or an open canopy over 700 sq ft, 30 days ahead. Fabric must meet NFPA 701. Only electric heaters go inside, and propane heaters stay at least 10 ft from the tent.
Lakes, hills and bridges decide how long guests and trucks take to reach a Seattle venue.
Each of Seattle's big industries has its own crowd, and we match the station to the people in the room.

A photo booth suits a December party or a campus event in Redmond, indoors and out of the rain. We bring an AI photo booth or a 360 photo booth with your branding and an attendant. See our photo booth rental page.
We run indoor simulator races and challenge formats through the wet months, and outdoor formats in July and August. Learn about our corporate team building programs.
We plan venues, transfers from Sea-Tac, dinners and day trips for an incentive group or board meeting. Read about our destination management services.
We bring sound, LED screens and technicians, and we can run the show for a general session. In convention center ballrooms we design the show around Encore's rigging. Details are on our AV rental page.
Seattle venues run on union rules, and tech campuses add their own badge checks. Our staff work inside both. Our operators run each station, brief guests and keep the line moving.
We build branded activations for PAX West, Emerald City Comic Con and tech launches, with staff who collect leads.
Corporate entertainment in Seattle has to work indoors, and every station does, in any season. Racing simulator rental fits a release party in South Lake Union, and VR rental suits a booth at PAX West. Flight and surf simulators are also available.
Yes. We have two bases, Los Angeles and Orlando, and work across the U.S. A Pacific Coast tour can add corporate events in Portland and our work as a corporate event planner in San Francisco.
Arch trucks enter from Hubbell Place and Summit trucks use the dock at 1715 Boren Avenue, with 18 bays each, open weekdays 7 AM to 4 PM. Neither building has a truck waiting area, so the center uses an off-site yard on Martin Luther King Way South. We book our dock slot in advance.
Woodinville has more than 100 wineries and tasting rooms about 30 minutes from downtown. For a retreat in that wine country, we bring stations to the estate and run them between sessions.
Plan for rain. November is the wettest month and January highs average 48°F, so a party belongs indoors or in a permitted, heated tent.
Yes. Smart City is the exclusive internet provider there, so we order the line through them and run cameras, stream and stage with our technicians.
Corporate event planning in Seattle starts with the rain plan. We book the venue, from a convention center ballroom to a Woodinville estate, order union labor and power, and run the event day.
Every Seattle event gets a custom quote. It depends on the format, the number of stations and hours, travel, union labor and Edlen power orders.
