GM, Ford and Stellantis run launches, dealer meetings and family days. A racing simulator rental in Detroit with a live leaderboard turns a product night into a contest. The cockpit runs on an Xbox with a wheel and pedals.

Run corporate events in Detroit the way the Motor City expects, with a racing seat for the car people in the room. We bring racing simulators, AI photo booths and AV to Huntington Place, Michigan Central or a Troy office.

Detroit's best rooms are a mix of a riverfront convention hall and restored landmarks, and each one sets its own rules for access, labor and power.
Huntington Place
The former Cobo Center sits on the riverfront with 723,000 sq ft of exhibit space, 623,000 of it in one piece. It has its own People Mover station, rooftop parking and direct access to the Lodge Freeway. A new terrace and a skyway to a JW Marriott are set to finish by the end of 2026.
Michigan Central, Corktown
Ford bought the 1914 train station in 2018 and reopened it on June 6, 2024, after a full restoration. Its 500,000 sq ft now anchor Ford's Corktown campus, and its restored halls suit a launch or a gala.
Ford Field
The Lions' stadium seats 65,000 and hosted Super Bowl XL in 2006. Its suites sit inside the old warehouse on the south side, and skylights bring daylight onto the field.
Hudson's Detroit
GM opened its headquarters and showroom in this new 1.4 million sq ft complex on January 12, 2026. It puts a car brand's own floor in the middle of downtown.
The Henry Ford, Dearborn
The museum's exhibit hall covers 523,000 sq ft, and Greenfield Village spreads over 240 acres next door. Dinners among historic cars and machines fit an auto supplier's client night.
Vibe Credit Union Showplace, Novi
The second-largest convention center in Metro Detroit, 340,000 sq ft off I-96 about 20 miles northwest of the city. It was the Suburban Collection Showplace until January 2026 and hosts the Michigan State Fair.
Detroit's calendar runs on cars, and the big weeks set hotel rates and venue space across downtown.
Huntington Place is a union facility with clear trade lines, and a plan that ignores them stalls on move-in day. We order labor and power on the show forms first.
No right-to-work
Michigan repealed its right-to-work law, and the repeal took effect in 2024.
Who does what
Teamsters and Iron Workers move freight and rig, Carpenters build booths and lay carpet, Electricians handle all electrical work, and Stagehands run AV. Freeman Electric is the only electrical contractor.
The 400 sq ft rule
Exhibitors with booths of 400 sq ft or less may set up themselves, with cordless hand tools, step stools of up to three steps and non-motorized carts. Ladders, power tools and lifts are for union crews only.
Hand carry
You may bring items in by hand or on luggage carts through the public entrances, not across the dock.
Certificate of insurance
We send insurance documents to Huntington Place, Ford Field or your organizer on request.
Out-of-town setup
We have two bases, Los Angeles and Orlando, and work across the U.S. On a strict show floor in New York, we installed a branded racing cockpit at i2c's FinovateFall booth the day before the show opened.
Branded racing cockpit at i2c's FinovateFall boothMetro Detroit's head offices spread from the riverfront to the northern suburbs, so the event location follows the commute.

Detroit is home to all of the Big Three, and the city's other employers know cars too, so a driving contest lands here.

Yes, if the booth is 400 sq ft or less and you stay within the tool limits from the union rules above. Power still goes through Freeman Electric, so we put our stations on that order.
Yes. Send the booth number and size. We check the show's rules, book labor and power on the show forms and set up during move-in.
Snow usually falls from mid-November to early April, about 42.5 inches a season. We load in through covered docks where the venue has them and leave time for weather on the road.
Yes. The race offers hospitality options downtown, and a racing station at your suite or a nearby venue lets guests drive the same weekend.
The Teamsters bring it in from the dock, so we book the slot on the show forms. At a Troy or Auburn Hills office, we arrange the dock with building management.
Yes. As your corporate event planner in Detroit, we find the venue, plan the program and the interactive, and run the event day, from a Corktown launch to a holiday party in Auburn Hills.
Yes. Send us the holder name from your Huntington Place show kit or your Ford Field suite contract, and we'll match our insurance documents to it.
