Corporate Events in Philadelphia: Full-Service Planning
We run corporate events in Philadelphia for health care, pharma and finance teams, with our own simulators, photo booths and AV. From a Center City hotel to the Navy Yard, we check each venue's rules before you get a quote.
Philadelphia rooms are often historic buildings, so we check floors, doors and power before we commit a station.
01
Pennsylvania Convention Center
Four city blocks in Center City, with 528,000 sq ft of contiguous exhibit space and 82 meeting rooms. The Grand Hall sits inside the old Reading Railroad train shed, under the oldest surviving single-span arched roof of its kind.
02
Philadelphia Marriott Downtown
About 1,200 rooms, connected to the convention center and to Reading Terminal Market by a skybridge. Exhibitors walk from the show floor to a client reception indoors.
03
Loews Philadelphia Hotel
In the PSFS Building, the first International Style skyscraper in the U.S. The Millennium Hall ballroom fills the old banking hall, and the hotel has 40,000 sq ft of function space, including restored rooms on the 33rd floor.
04
The Franklin Institute
A science museum on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, founded in 1824, with the Giant Heart and a Baldwin steam locomotive on display. A flight simulator fits its theme; we confirm after-hours use with the museum's events team.

Union rules, permits and COI in Philadelphia
You avoid surprises on the show floor because we sort out who may build what before the truck leaves.
Labor at the Pennsylvania Convention Center
The center works under a Customer Satisfaction Agreement with four unions: the Laborers, IATSE stagehands, IBEW electricians and Iron Workers. Since August 2019, an exhibitor's own employees may set up and take down a booth of any size, using power tools and ladders up to 6 ft. That right belongs to exhibitors only. Contractors like us follow the show's labor rules, so we check the exhibitor manual and, where the show requires it, add union labor to your quote.
City permits
Any event on city property or with city services needs a permit from the Office of Special Events, which handles more than 1,400 applications a year. Apply at least 90 days ahead; later applications pay an expedited fee. The city wants a $1,000,000 general liability certificate naming the City of Philadelphia, with the event's name and date on it.
Insurance
We send our insurance documents to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, your hotel or show management on request, with the additional insureds they list.
Philadelphia neighborhoods for company events
Your guests' office often decides the district, and so does the drive from Center City.
Center City. The convention center, the big hotels and Comcast's towers, all within walking distance of each other.
Old City. The historic blocks around Independence Hall, on Chestnut Street between 5th and 6th, for a dinner with a history walk first.
University City. West of the Schuylkill River, home to Penn, Drexel, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University City Science Center, next to 30th Street Station.
Navy Yard. A former naval shipyard of about 1,000 acres, now a campus for roughly 120 companies, including the Urban Outfitters headquarters.
Fishtown. A River Wards neighborhood northeast of Center City, where restaurants and art spaces have opened since 2005.
King of Prussia. An edge city about 15 miles northwest, with the fourth-largest mall in the U.S. and one of the densest clusters of hotels and offices in the state.
Philadelphia earned the nickname Cellicon Valley for its work on cancer immunotherapies. Penn Medicine and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia anchor University City, and health care is the city's largest employer sector. Medical meetings like the neuro-oncology congress bring client dinners and symposium receptions, where an AI photo booth or AI networking helps guests meet the right people.
Comcast keeps its headquarters in Center City, and its Comcast Technology Center, at 1,121 ft, is the tallest building in Pennsylvania. Financial activities form the largest sector of the metro economy. For a Center City town hall or a summer social, we bring VR, racing tournaments and full AV. For a sponsor activation, we design the station, brand it and collect leads.
Corporate event planning and rentals in Philadelphia
One team, one quote and one point of contact for all of it.
Photo booth rental in Philadelphia
Our AI photo booth is a 65-inch touch-screen mirror that turns each guest into a branded AI portrait in seconds, with prints and lead capture. For a holiday party, a 360 photo booth records slow-motion clips guests share before they leave. See both on the photo booth rental page.
Team building games in Philadelphia
For a Navy Yard office or a King of Prussia sales team, we build the program around racing heats, VR challenges and one leaderboard everyone watches. Our operators run the rounds. Formats are on the team building page.
Interactive rentals
A racing tournament suits a Comcast team night, and a flight simulator fits a reception at The Franklin Institute. We add QSC sound and AI networking for medical meetings, with a trained operator at every station. Browse them in interactive event rentals.
Questions from Philadelphia planners
Can your crew set up our station at the Pennsylvania Convention Center without union labor?
It depends on the show. The center's agreement gives setup rights to an exhibitor's own employees, not to outside contractors. We read your exhibitor manual, tell you what the show requires, and put any union labor into the quote before you approve it. How we quote shows what else changes the total.
How far ahead do we need a city permit for outdoor team building in Philadelphia?
Apply to the Office of Special Events at least 90 days before the event. After that, the city charges an expedited fee. You'll also need a $1,000,000 liability certificate naming the City of Philadelphia.
Can you run a booth at the Philadelphia Flower Show or the Auto Show?
Yes, as part of an exhibitor's stand. Both shows fill the convention center, so send the hall and booth number early and we'll plan the station around the show's move-in schedule.
Where can we hold a corporate holiday party in Philadelphia?
Millennium Hall at the Loews fills the old PSFS banking hall and suits a large team, and an Old City restaurant suits a smaller one. We find the venue, line up AV, and run the activities on the night. For guests flying in, we add hotels near the convention center, transfers from the airport and group dinners.
What about winter weather for a January or February event?
Philadelphia averages about 22 inches of snow a season, so we plan the load-in with a buffer and keep stations indoors. Summer is the opposite: about 30 days a year reach 90°F, so outdoor stations get shade.
