Racing Simulator Challenge on the 55th Floor in Downtown LA

We ran a racing simulator challenge for Capital Group on the 55th floor of an office tower in Downtown LA. Guests raced side by side for a place on the live leaderboard.

What Capital Group asked for

A simulator draws a crowd for a few minutes. A ranking with prizes gives people a reason to come back and try again. That was the goal here.

Capital Group planned a corporate gathering in a 55th-floor event space in Downtown Los Angeles. It wanted a racing simulator experience with a clear competitive goal: something guests would compete in, rather than try once. If you want a race like this for your own team, our simulator team building page explains the format.

We also run events for banks and investment firms. See our page on financial services corporate events.

Two cockpits and a shared ranking

You get a race that two people drive at once, with a ranking the whole room can read. For Capital Group we set up:

  • Two racing cockpits. Placed side by side, so two guests raced at the same time.
  • Leaderboard screen. One digital ranking screen between the two cockpits.
  • Ten prize places. The organizer set the prizes: a racing helmet for first place and trophies for the next nine drivers.
  • Prize table. The helmet and the trophies stood on a table next to the cockpits, so every guest could see what they were racing for.

Five hours to set up a high floor

You don't have to rush a high-floor install. We started early, so the stations were ready well before the first guest.
