AI Networking Matchmaker and Racing Simulator at TEC6
At TEC6, our AI networking matchmaker and racing simulator gave event professionals two ways to meet: a planned introduction and an easy game. The launch took place at the Scenic Arts Center on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City.

What the TEC6 organizers wanted
The TEC6 organizers wanted introductions that lead to real work, not a stack of scanned badges.
The Event Community and TN'T Events launched TEC6, an industry event for event professionals, on September 28, 2026. Everyone in the room planned events for a living.
The organizers asked for technology that helped guests make useful professional introductions. They wanted each guest to meet the people who could help with real work.
If you're building an evening around connections, our page on networking event planning shows the formats we run.

How AI networking matched guests
You get introductions based on what guests actually need, not on who happens to stand nearby. We proposed several ideas, and the organizers picked AI Networking Matchmaker. We developed the concept for TEC6 and built the matches from two sources:
- Registration data. The details guests had already given when they signed up for TEC6.
- Extra questionnaire. What each guest can offer, who they want to meet and which projects they're working on.
- Racing simulator. Later in planning, the organizers added a racing simulator in the Rainbow Room. It gave guests an informal way to talk while they waited for a turn or watched a race.
- One team. Matchmaking and simulators are both part of our event technology services, so one team planned and ran them together.
Working on a studio lot
A studio lot has its own rules for vendors. We worked through them with the organizers before event day.
Two activities, two roles
Guests had a reason to meet with purpose and a reason to relax, and each activity did its own job.

The matchmaker handled the planned introductions. The racing simulator in the Rainbow Room gave guests a casual game and something to talk about.
On September 30 the organizer followed up with a thank-you for the event as a whole. The note named AI Networking Matchmaker and the racing simulator.
We didn't record counts of recommendations, races or the introductions that came from them.

Questions from organizers
What data does the matchmaker need from guests?
At TEC6 we used registration data plus a short extra questionnaire. It asked what each guest can offer, who they want to meet and which projects they're working on.
Can you add a game to a business networking event?
Yes. At TEC6 the organizers added a racing simulator late in planning, and we fit it into the same program. Tell us early if you want a game next to the networking.
How do you measure whether networking worked?
We agree on success measures with you before the event. Afterward, we review the results with you against those measures.
Do you work in Los Angeles?
Yes. We have two bases, Los Angeles and Orlando, and work across the U.S. More about us as a corporate event planner in Los Angeles.
Tell us about your guests
Send us the date, the venue and who your guests are. We'll reply right away and check availability, and you'll have a quote in minutes. One team will plan the matching, set up the stations and run the evening. Include the event type, date, city, expected guest count and budget. Tell us what your guests want from each other, such as clients, vendors or new hires. Or call +1 213 912 1010
