Two players at a car museum

When a planner needs two guests on the field at once, we've done it in a museum full of cars.

Work included

  • Kid's Bash OC asked for a soccer game two guests could play together at a bar mitzvah, in the Marconi Automotive Museum, with the game visible to everyone nearby. We brought two stations, each with its own 55-inch TV on a stand. Read the full story of VR soccer for a bar mitzvah at a car museum.

Why VR soccer pulls a crowd

Everybody knows what a goal looks like, so nobody needs an explanation to enjoy watching.

A guest puts on the headset, faces the screen and starts kicking. The people around see the same game on the TV and react to every shot. With two players, it becomes a match: friends pick a side and shout advice.

That works where ages mix. Teens play, parents watch, grandparents cheer. It's a strong pick for bar mitzvah entertainment, and it works the same way at an office party.

Built for a match, not a demo

You get a setup that keeps two players busy and the crowd involved.

  • Penalty shootout.

Guests take turns shooting and saving. The score settles who goes next.

  • Head-to-head.

Two guests play at the same time on two stations.

  • A long celebration.

Two stations keep turns short over a long party.

  • More sports.

Add baseball or hockey from our VR sports stations for a bigger lineup.

Two-Player VR Soccer for a Bar Mitzvah at Marconi Automotive Museum, Tustin

Work done: The family picked the two-screen setup, and the planner confirmed the two-player plan in writing. Before the day, we agreed power and the museum's Wi-Fi with the venue. Our crew got access at 1 PM and had both stations ready for a 5 to 10 PM party. Each guest got a short briefing from the attendant, then played.

What we send your venue

Venues ask what we bring and when. We answer before the day.

Insurance documents go to your venue on request. We also send the station count, the space we need and our load-in time, so the venue can plan around us.

What spoils a VR soccer station

A few things can turn a great game into a dull corner.

  • Relying on venue screens. If the venue's TVs aren't free or don't connect, the crowd sees nothing. Our stations bring their own.
  • Wi-Fi checked on the day. We agree the connection with the venue in advance.
  • No space for a kick. Players swing a leg hard. We mark a clear zone around each station.
  • A screen that faces the wall. If the TV points away from the room, nobody sees the goals. We turn each screen toward the crowd.

    • Before guests walk in.
  6. Step 6: We run the game

    • Until the last guest has played.
  7. Step 7: We pack up

    • After the last match.

Questions

Can we book a VR party for a birthday or a mitzvah?

Yes. VR soccer works for bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays and family parties. Tell us how many guests and their ages.

How old do players need to be?

Headset makers such as Meta set a minimum age of 10. Tell us the youngest guest's age before the event.

Is this the same as a soccer simulator?

No. VR soccer happens inside a headset. Our soccer simulator uses a real ball and a screen.

Does it work for team building?

Yes. For VR team building, run a penalty shootout between departments. The score decides the winning team.

Is it good for a trade show booth?

Yes. People in the aisle see the goal on the TV and stop to watch. That gives your staff a reason to start a conversation.

Do we need to book a VR center?

No. We bring VR soccer to your venue, so your guests stay at the party. Send your city and date.

How do you keep headsets clean?

We wipe headsets and face pads between players.
