VR Sports Games for Corporate Events

Give your team VR sports games they can play in a work outfit: a swing at a fastball, a slapshot on goal, a score on the board. Colleagues who never play sports still step up.

Work included

  • For Capital Group's summer social, the brief tied together beach culture, local sports and branded photos. Local sports became one VR Baseball station and one VR Hockey station on a shared digital leaderboard. Two surf simulators and an AI photo booth stood nearby, so guests could move from game to game all afternoon.

Why VR sports games work for mixed teams

Your guests already know the rules, so they jump in without a tutorial.

A baseball swing or a shot on goal is familiar to nearly everyone. In VR, a guest gets the feel of the stadium or the rink in a few minutes, and the screen shows the crowd every hit and every save.

Real sports games can leave the less athletic people on the sidelines. VR sports don't need speed or strength. A well-timed swing or a lucky deflection can win the round, so VR events stay open to the whole office.

Plan a sports lineup

  • VR Baseball. Guests step up to the plate and swing at pitches. Longest hits climb the board.
  • VR Hockey. Guests shoot on goal or defend the net.
  • A shared leaderboard. One screen ranks scores across stations, so baseball and hockey players compete together.
  • More games. Add two-player VR soccer for a three-sport lineup.

Pick the stations, and we'll shape the competition.

For VR team building, split guests into departments and add up their best scores. The winning team gets the moment at the end of the event.

What you get with each station

Every station comes complete, with people to run it.

  • Headset, controllers and a screen. The crowd sees every swing.
  • An operator. Fits the headset, explains the motion and keeps the line going.
  • Setup and testing. Before your guests arrive.
  • Teardown. After the last player.

What goes into a VR sports quote

You'll get a price for your exact setup. There's no fixed price list. The VR rental cost for sports stations depends on:

  • How many stations and which sports.
  • Event hours.
  • Indoor or outdoor setup.
  • Your city and the travel to it.

How the summer social came together

Five Interactive Stations and AV for Capital Group's "I Love LA" Summer Social

Work done: Capital Group, a returning client, approved and paid for the full package before the event. We arrived at 9:30 AM for a 2 to 5 PM program. The prep list covered shade tents, power distribution across the plaza, extra cabling and internet for the photo booth. Four activity operators and one AV technician ran the program. Four QSC speakers and a wireless mic carried music and announcements across all stations.

Papers for the venue or building

Office plazas and venues have rules. We meet them before load-in.

We send insurance documents on request. For outdoor sites and office plazas, we also agree the station layout and load-in time with building management.

What goes wrong with VR sports

  • Sun on the screens.

Daylight washes out a TV. Outdoors, every station needs a tent.

  • No room to swing.

A bat swing needs clear space all around. We mark a safe zone.

  • No leaderboard.

Without a score, guests play once and leave. A shared board brings them back.

  • Long turns.

A full inning is too long for a party. We set short turns so the line keeps moving.

VR headset rental for sports stations

Here's what each station needs.

Each station has a standalone headset with controllers and a large TV on a stand. We fit the setup to your venue and confirm space and power with you, with extra clearance for a bat swing. A turn lasts a few minutes, so the line keeps moving.

Who runs the stations

  • Operators. One per station, from the first turn to the last.
  • Event lead. Plans the site with you, leads setup and teardown, and stays your contact.

Questions

Do VR sports work at company events?

Yes. They work for summer socials, kickoffs and holiday parties, where guests want something short and easy to try.

Can you set up several sports side by side?

Yes. Two or more stations next to each other make a small sports arcade.

Can kids play?

Yes, at a family VR party too, if they meet the headset age limit. Meta sets a minimum age of 10.

Do VR sports work at a trade show booth?

Yes. A swing on a big screen stops people in the aisle.

Do you have physical sports games too?

Yes. See our sports game rentals for games played with a real ball.

Which VR sports games can we book?

VR Baseball and VR Hockey, plus two-player soccer. A zombie shooter and more are on our VR rental page.
