Aerospace
Lockheed Martin, ULA and BAE Systems all have offices in Colorado. A flight simulator at an engineering team's family day lets everyone try the cockpit their parents talk about.
480+ corporate events · 5 years
Run corporate events in Denver that fit the Colorado Convention Center's union rules, mountain weather and a mile of altitude. We bring simulators, photo booths and AV to downtown, LoDo, the DTC or Aurora.

Denver's big rooms range from a downtown convention hall to a red sandstone amphitheater, and each one sets its own load-in rules. Planning around a brewery, a DTC office or a mountain lodge? Send us the address, and we'll check power, space and the freight route with the venue.
Colorado Convention Center
The center at 700 14th Street has 2.2 million sq ft in total, with 584,000 sq ft of exhibit space in six halls. You'll know it by the 40-foot blue bear sculpture by the main entrance. It has its own light rail stop and a 1,000-space garage.
Bluebird Ballroom and rooftop terrace
The newest part of the center adds an 80,000 sq ft ballroom for more than 7,500 people and a 20,000 sq ft terrace that faces the Rocky Mountains. A reception up there pairs well with a 360 booth for the view.
Gaylord Rockies in Aurora
The resort near the airport offers 526,457 sq ft of event space, and its Aurora Exhibition Hall holds up to 10,000 people. Fly-in groups can land, meet and celebrate without a city transfer.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre
The open-air venue near Morrison sits about ten miles southwest of Denver at 6,450 ft. The city owns it, and a summer company night here is about the setting as much as the show.
Denver Union Station
The restored station in LoDo reopened in 2014 with the 112-room Crawford Hotel inside. Its Great Hall suits a client reception within walking distance of downtown offices.
These weeks fill downtown hotels and the convention center's docks, so plan your event dates around them.
The Colorado Convention Center limits what your own staff may set up, so we plan the setup before we load the truck.
The one-hour rule
IATSE Local 7 holds exclusive jurisdiction over displays, rigging, AV and material handling at the center. Your full-time employees may install your own display only if the work takes under 60 minutes and uses no mechanized tools.
No carts without labor
Anything that needs a dolly or a forklift to get to the booth moves through IATSE. The show's general contractor controls the docks.
Exclusive services
Sodexo Live! is the only caterer and Smart City Networks the only internet provider in the building. Branded snacks and a wired connection for a station go through them.
Insurance and firefighters
The center publishes its own certificate of insurance requirements and firefighter coverage rules for planners. We send our insurance documents to the venue on request.
Public event permits
For an event on public land, Denver wants your application 60 days before setup, and 90 days for a first-time or complex event. It won't accept one less than 30 days out. Private events on private property usually don't need an event permit, though generators over 5 kW and stages still need approval.
The neighborhood decides how your guests get there and how our truck reaches the room.
Fit the activity to the people in the room, and your guests will stay at it longer.

Team building in Denver follows the weather. From late spring to early fall, a morning program outdoors can end before afternoon thunderstorms arrive. Browse our corporate team building programs.
A photo booth suits a rooftop reception on the Bluebird terrace or a December party in LoDo. We bring an AI photo booth with your frame or a 360 photo booth that circles guests in slow motion, plus an attendant. See how our photo booth rental works.
At the convention center, setup time is short and the union handles the freight, so our operators arrive ready to run the stations from the first minute. They guide guests, run the leaderboard and collect contacts. Read more about our event staffing.
Rigging and AV labor at the convention center go through IATSE, so we plan our screens and sound around those orders. In a hotel or a LoDo venue, we bring our own technician. For hybrid event production in Denver, we add cameras and a stream, and we can run the show flow. Details are on our AV rental with technicians page.
We plan the program for an incoming group: hotels downtown or in Aurora, transfers from the airport, dinners in LoDo and a mountain day.
Our own fleet covers corporate entertainment in Denver. Racing simulator rental fits a client night in LoDo, and VR rental works for a DTC town hall or a booth at the convention center. Flight and surf simulators round out the fleet, and an operator comes with every station.
We have two bases, Los Angeles and Orlando, and work across the U.S. Between snow spells we agree a backup delivery window with the venue, and at the convention center we book the dock through the show's general contractor. The same crew covers corporate events in Salt Lake City and Kansas City corporate events, so a Mountain and Plains tour stays with one team.
Only small displays. Your full-time employees may install a display that takes under an hour with no power tools. Anything bigger goes through IATSE Local 7. We plan our stations so the crew can set them up within those rules.
In winter, indoor formats win: a simulator tournament, a VR challenge or an AI photo booth contest in a hotel ballroom or a DTC office. From late spring, a rooftop terrace with a mountain view works for the reception after.
Your guests feel it more than our equipment does. Denver sits at 5,280 ft, and Red Rocks at 6,450 ft. Plan water stations next to the most active games.
They can interrupt one. Denver ranks among the ten most hail-prone U.S. cities, and winter snow comes in spells between mild days. We agree on a covered fallback with your venue for every outdoor station.
A LoDo venue or a downtown hotel ballroom works well in December, with no outdoor time in the cold. We set up the stations in the afternoon and staff them through the last toast.
Yes. Gaylord Rockies keeps a fly-in group on one campus near the airport, and a foothills lodge near Morrison suits a smaller team. We book the venue, plan the sessions and add an interactive evening.
Every Denver event gets a custom quote. It depends on the format, the number of stations and hours, travel, IATSE labor orders at the convention center and any city permit for a public site. Read how we quote, then send your brief.
Send us the date, the venue and your headcount. We'll check the convention center's one-hour rule or your venue's load-in, and reply right away.
