Employee Recognition Programs Delivered as Live Events

Turn your employee recognition programs into a night people talk about on Monday, with names called on a real stage and a room that cheers. We write the run of show with you, so on the night you only hand out the awards.

Why recognition works better in a room

An award said out loud in front of colleagues stays with a person longer than a badge in an app.

Your company may already have the everyday side: a kudos channel, an Employee of the Month email, a points catalog. What's often missing is the moment when the whole team stops and looks at one person. That moment is the event we build. It can be an annual awards night, a quarterly celebration or a lunch for service milestones at five, ten and twenty years.

A live event also gives your employee engagement programs something to aim at. People know the date, they know there will be a stage, and they know their manager will say their name. If you want a broader thank-you for the whole staff, see our employee appreciation events.

Employee rewards programs that end in a celebration

You decide who gets recognized and why. We turn that list into an evening with a clear order and no dead time. Here are employee recognition program ideas we build into one night.

  • Awards ceremony. Categories, nominees and winners announced from a stage, with walk-up music and a photo moment for each name.
  • Service milestones. Short tributes for tenure, with photos from the person's years at the company on the main screen.
  • Team awards. Recognition for a department or a project team, so it's not only individuals on stage.
  • Contests on the night. Our racing, flight and surf simulators with a live leaderboard, so guests can win something during the evening too.
  • A formal evening. Recognition can sit inside a seated dinner or a corporate gala with a host and a band.

Sales incentive programs with a live finish

Sales teams compete all year. We give the result a public finish: the final ranking on screen, the top performers on stage and the next year's goal announced the same night.

What you get with one booking

  • A run of show. A minute-by-minute script: who speaks, when each award goes out, when music plays.
  • Stage and sound. QSC speakers, wireless microphones and a mixer, with a sound check before guests arrive.
  • Screens. Nominee photos, category slides and a countdown on displays sized to the room.
  • Awards and gifts. Trophies, plaques or branded gifts sourced through our corporate gifting team and set out on a table before the ceremony.
  • Interactive contests. Simulators or an AI photo booth with your branding, with an operator at each station.
  • Setup and teardown. We arrive early, build and test, and pack everything up after the last guest leaves.

One team plans, builds and runs the evening, so you don't brief five vendors.

What shapes the quote

You'll see the price for your exact evening before you commit. We don't keep a price list. Every event gets a custom quote.

  • Number of guests and award categories.
  • Venue: your office, a hotel ballroom or a rented space.
  • Stage, sound and screen needs for that room.
  • Interactive stations and how many hours they run.
  • Awards, gifts and printing.
  • Your city, since our team and equipment travel from one of our two bases, Los Angeles or Orlando.
How we build a quote

Celebrations we've run for employees

These events show how we work with HR and people teams on the day: a prize to award, a crowd to move and a program to keep on time.

Capital Group Racing Simulator Challenge on the 55th Floor in Downtown LA

This is recognition in contest form. Capital Group set ten prize places for a racing challenge on the 55th floor: a racing helmet for first and trophies for the next nine. The ranking stayed on a screen between two cockpits all afternoon, so everyone knew who was in the running.

Photos from employee events

These shots show the stage moments and the contests around them.

  • A surf station under shade tents on a city plaza
  • Colleagues watch a guest race on the 55th floor
  • Powered speakers on stands beside a seated audience during a presentation
  • An award winner holds a glass plaque on stage
  • A remote team watches the awards on a video call shown on the main screen

Venue paperwork

Your venue gets our documents early, so load-in doesn't wait on an email.

  • We send insurance documents to venues and organizers on request. Hotels and office buildings usually ask for them before they assign a load-in slot.
  • Tell us the venue's requirements in your request, and we'll check them early.

What goes wrong at awards nights

Awards nights go flat for a few simple reasons. Here's what each one costs and what we do instead.

  • Too many names in a row.

Forty awards read back to back lose the room by the tenth. We split categories into short rounds with music, food or a contest between them.

  • Nobody can hear.

A hotel ballroom mic at the podium doesn't reach the back tables. We place speakers along the seating and test from the last row.

  • Winners find out from a list.

If the photo isn't on screen and the name isn't spoken clearly, the moment is gone. Each name gets a slide, music and a photo spot.

  • Remote staff left out.

People in the field watch a frozen stream or nothing at all. We plan a camera and a stream for them from the start.

  • The program runs late.

Dinner service and speeches collide. One person on our side calls every cue.

How we plan it

You'll know who does what from the first message to the last award.

  1. Step 1: You send the basics

    • Date, city, guest count and what you want to recognize. We reply right away.
  2. Step 2: You get a quote

    • It lists the venue needs, AV, stations and staff.
  3. Step 3: We write the run of show

    • Categories, order, speakers, music and timing.
  4. Step 4: We clear the venue

    • Load-in time, power, stage position and insurance documents.
  5. Step 5: We build and rehearse

    • Sound check, slides and a walk-through with your presenters.
  6. Step 6: We run the night

    • Our team calls cues, runs the screens and staffs the contests.
  7. Step 7: We pack up

    • You get the photos and, for contests, the final standings.

Questions

Do you provide an employee recognition platform?

No. We don't sell points software or a rewards catalog. We run the live events that your recognition program leads up to.

How much does an awards night cost?

Every event gets a custom quote. It depends on guest count, venue, AV and the stations you add. Send the date and city to get yours.

Can you add a trip for top performers?

Yes. A travel incentive program works well as the top prize. See our incentive travel page for how we plan those trips.

Can you run events for a partner or dealer program?

Yes, for channel partner and dealer incentive programs we run the events: the kickoff where the goals are announced and the finale where winners are named. Program rules and tracking stay with your team.

Can remote employees take part?

Yes. Tell us how many people will watch remotely, and we'll plan a camera, a stream and a moment on stage for them.

Can we hold it at our office?

Yes. We've set up on an office floor and on a plaza outside an office tower. We'll check power, space and building rules with you first.
