Geodesic Dome Rental for Corporate Events

Book a geodesic dome rental and turn a lawn or a parking lot into a room with your logo on the outside and a full program inside. We plan the size, the power and the activities with you.

Corporate event tents that become the venue

A structure gives you a room where there wasn't one.

A dome draws people from across a field or a show lot. Inside, it holds a product reveal, a lounge or a game zone, out of the sun and the wind. The round shape works well for projection and for a crowd standing around one activity. That's why domes show up at brand activations and launches.

Guests inside a dome gather around a simulator station

One team for the structure and what goes in it

You don't coordinate a tent company, an AV vendor and an activity vendor. We plan all of it as one job.

We bring the power plan, the interactive stations, the sound and the furniture, then run the event inside the structure. That's the same approach we use for outdoor programs like a company picnic planning project.

Tent rental for corporate events: what fits your site

Pick the structure by guest count, ground and how long it stays up. We'll suggest the right type for your site.

  • Geodesic domes. A dome about 21 ft across holds about 34 standing guests. One about 62 ft across covers 3,047 sq ft and holds about 305. The cover can carry your logo.
  • Trade show tents. Tents for outdoor exhibits, demo areas and hospitality next to a convention center or in a parking lot. At a big convention center, such as OCCC in Orlando during the PGA Show in January, we agree outdoor space and power with the venue first.
  • Clearspan tent rental. Large tents with no poles inside, for dinners, general sessions and long rows of exhibits.
  • Shade tents and canopies. Smaller pop-up tents over stations, check-in and food lines.

What shapes the price

You'll know what the structure and everything inside it cost before you sign, and the quote comes back in minutes.

There's no price list. Every event gets a custom quote, based on:

  • Structure type and size.
  • How many days it stays up, including setup.
  • Flooring, climate control, lighting and power.
  • Printed covers or branding.
  • Permits and engineering documents for your city.
  • Your location and site access.
  • What goes inside: stations, AV, furniture, staff.

Outdoor events we've run

Here's how we handle the parts of an outdoor event that structures depend on: shade, power, ground and timing.

At the surf simulator at EF Academy's luau party, the station stood on a campus lawn in the evening. Before the 7:30 PM start, we checked the light, the level of the ground, power and space for the line.

Structures on site

These frames show how each structure sits on the site and how guests move around it.

  • Surf stations under shade tents on a downtown plaza
  • A geodesic dome lit from inside at night
  • Projection on the inner wall of a dome during a product reveal
  • A row of shade tents at a company picnic
  • A clearspan tent set for a seated dinner
  • A student rides a surf station on a campus lawn at dusk

Permits and fire rules

Your structure needs approval before it goes up, and we prepare the documents for it.

  • Under the International Fire Code, section 3103.2, a tent or membrane structure over 400 sq ft needs a permit from the local fire code official. California applies that rule with or without sidewalls.
  • For 50 or more guests, the application includes a site and floor plan with exits. Each city adopts its own edition, so we check the local rules for your date.
  • We also send insurance documents to the venue or property owner on request.

What goes wrong with outdoor structures

Most problems with tents and domes come from the site, not the structure. Here's what each one costs and how we handle it.

  • Ground not checked.

A slope or soft soil delays setup. We review the site before we order.

  • Power planned last.

Lights, AV and stations all need it. We plan power with the layout.

  • Too small for the crowd.

Guests stand outside in the sun. We size the structure to your guest count and what's inside.

  • No setup time.

Large domes take days to build. We book the site for the full build.

How it works

You'll know each step from the site check to the last truck out.

  1. Step 1: You send the basics

    • Date, site, city, guest count and what happens inside.
  2. Step 2: We suggest a structure

    • Type and size, with a quote.
  3. Step 3: We check the site

    • Ground, access, power and distance from buildings.
  4. Step 4: We handle the permit

    • Floor plan, exits and documents for the fire marshal.
  5. Step 5: We build

    • Structure first, then floor, power, lights and the program inside.
  6. Step 6: We run the event

    • Our crew stays on site with the stations and AV.
  7. Step 7: We take it down

    • And leave the site as we found it.

Who handles your structure

  • Event lead. Plans the site, permits and schedule with you and the property owner.
  • Build crew. Puts up the structure, floor and lighting, and takes it down.
  • Operators and AV technician. Run the stations and sound inside the structure.

You deal with one event lead. Behind them, a crew builds, powers and runs the site.

Questions

How many people fit in a dome?

A dome about 62 ft across holds about 305 standing guests. Send your guest count and format, and we'll size the dome.

Do I need a permit for a tent?

In most U.S. cities, yes, for structures over 400 sq ft. We prepare the documents.

Can you add furniture and a stage?

Yes. See event furniture rental and stage rental.

Can a structure stay up for a multi-day show?

Yes. Plan the build days into the venue booking, since large domes take several days to put up.

Can you brand the dome?

Yes. The cover can carry your logo, and the inside can hold projection and branded stations.

What if the weather turns?

Tents and domes are built for wind and rain, and we plan sidewalls, flooring and power with that in mind. Tell us the season and site.

Ask about your site

Send us the site, the date and your guest count. We'll reply right away with a structure and a quote, and one team will build it, run the event and take it down. Tell us the event type, date, city, expected guest count and budget. Add the site address and what you plan to hold inside the structure. Or call +1 213 912 1010
