Corporate event venues in Las Vegas

Las Vegas has more than 15 million sq ft of meeting and exhibit space, and each campus runs its own docks and rules. Planning around a different resort or an off-Strip room? Send us the address, and we'll check power, the freight route and the load-in window.

Las Vegas Convention Center

LVCC has 2.9 million sq ft of exhibit space across the West, North, Central and South Halls. The West Hall alone added 1.4 million sq ft. Send us the hall and booth number, and our truck goes to the right hall.

Mandalay Bay Convention Center

The south Strip campus offers 2.1 million sq ft, including the 100,000 sq ft Mandalay Bay Ballroom. A sales kickoff can hold the general session and the evening party in the same building.

Caesars Forum

It opened in 2020 east of the Strip with 550,000 sq ft and two 110,000 sq ft ballrooms without pillars. Every guest sees the stage, and a row of racing stations along the back wall stays in view.

MGM Grand

The resort has more than 850,000 sq ft of meeting space, so a conference, a breakout day and an awards dinner can run without leaving the property.

AREA15

This immersive district off South Rancho Drive takes up to 15,000 guests across its campus. Brand parties pick it when the venue should feel like part of the show.

Las Vegas trade show calendar

The city's biggest weeks fill hotels and docks, so plan your booth activity around them early.

  1. Step 1: January

    • CES, the consumer tech show, runs January 6 to 9, 2027, at LVCC and Strip venues.
  2. Step 2: February

    • MAGIC, the fashion trade show, runs February 16 to 18, 2027, at LVCC.
  3. Step 3: April

    • NAB Show brings broadcast and media buyers to LVCC on April 3 to 7, 2027.
  4. Step 4: November

    • The SEMA Show, the automotive aftermarket event, runs November 3 to 6, 2026.
    • The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix follows on November 19 to 21 on a 3.853-mile circuit through the Strip.
  5. Step 5: Late November to December

    • AWS re:Invent runs November 30 to December 4, 2026, across Caesars Forum, MGM Grand, The Venetian, Wynn and other resorts, not at LVCC.
  6. Step 6: Booking a show week

    • For trade show entertainment in Las Vegas during one of these weeks, send us the show name, the venue and your booth size.

Union crews and fire permits in Las Vegas

Knowing who may touch what on the show floor keeps your booth open on time and your bill free of surprise labor charges.

  • Who sets up

Nevada is a right-to-work state, yet the big venues have agreements with unions. Full-time employees of an exhibitor, with proof of employment, may set up their own booth. Teamsters move all freight from the dock to the booth.

  • What you can do yourself

Placing your products, opening product cartons and running your demo stay outside union work. You can hand-carry small items in if one person carries them without a cart or dolly.

  • Power

Electricians make the power connections. You may plug equipment into outlets that are already in your booth, so we order outlets early.

  • Fire permits on the Strip

The Strip and LVCC sit in unincorporated Clark County, where the County Fire Department issues the permits. A vehicle on display needs its own permit and no more than a quarter tank or 5 gallons of fuel. Applications are due at least three weeks before move-in, and a covered booth over 1,000 sq ft in place 7 or more show days needs sprinklers.

  • Downtown is the city

Downtown venues follow City of Las Vegas fire rules. A tent over 400 sq ft there needs a Fire & Rescue Temporary Activity Permit.

Where Las Vegas companies hold events

The area you choose changes who issues the permits, how guests get there and the style of the night.

  • The Strip. About 4.2 miles of Las Vegas Boulevard, the Strip lies outside city limits in Paradise and Winchester. Conventions, client dinners and award shows happen in its resort campuses, each with its own docks and rules.
  • Downtown and the Arts District. Fremont Street, galleries and converted spaces suit a team night with character. Guests can walk between venues, and the city's permit rules apply here.
  • Summerlin. Summerlin suits calmer events away from the Strip. TPC Summerlin hosts golf days and corporate dinners there.
  • Henderson. The city southeast of the Strip has sports and social venues where a local team can hold a staff party close to home.

Las Vegas event ideas by industry

Pick an activity that speaks your guests' language, and they'll stay at your booth or party longer.

  • An AI photo booth mirror with studio lights, set up before guests arrive

    Consumer tech

CES brings the gadget world to town every January. An AI photo booth or VR station at a booth or an after-party lets guests try the tech themselves.

    Book an AI photo booth

  • Two colleagues race side by side on racing simulators at a company social

    Automotive aftermarket

SEMA fills LVCC with car builders and parts brands each November. A racing simulator with a branded cockpit fits a crowd that judges cars for a living.

    Rent a racing simulator

  • A soccer simulator at a trade show booth

    Gaming and casinos

G2E, the gaming industry show, meets at the Venetian Expo. Casino operators already know every slot machine, so a hands-on game with a leaderboard gives them something new.

    Motorsport fans

The F1 Grand Prix turns the Strip into a race track in November. That week, a racing cockpit in a hospitality suite or a client lounge gives guests their own lap of the Strip.

Questions about corporate events in Las Vegas

How do you get equipment into LVCC during a big show week?

We have two bases, Los Angeles and Orlando, and work across the U.S. During CES or SEMA, freight moves on the show's own move-in schedule, so we time the truck to your hall's slot. One team can also run corporate events in Phoenix, so a Southwest tour stays with the same crew. When your next show is at OCCC, see Orlando corporate events.

What does a corporate event planner in Las Vegas handle for us?

We book the resort or venue, plan the program around show week, order union labor and outlets, file Clark County fire permits and run the event day. You get one plan from the airport transfer to teardown.

Can our own staff set up the booth at LVCC?

Yes, if they're full-time employees with proof of employment. Freight from the dock goes through the Teamsters, and power connections go through electricians.

Do we need a fire permit for a simulator on the show floor?

A simulator isn't a vehicle, so it goes on your booth layout like any other display. A real car needs a Clark County vehicle display permit. Send us your floor plan at least three weeks before move-in, and we'll check what applies.

Can we hold an outdoor event in Las Vegas in summer?

Plan it for the evening or keep it indoors. The first 110°F day usually arrives around June 30, and in 2024 the city logged 36 such days. We pick a shaded or air-conditioned spot for every station.

Is F1 week a good time for a client event?

It's a strong draw and a hard week to book. The race closes parts of the Strip, so we confirm your venue's access and load-in times before we commit.

Where should we hold a corporate holiday party in Las Vegas?

December is calmer after re:Invent leaves town in early December. A resort ballroom works for a big team, and Downtown or Summerlin suits a smaller group. Our operators keep the games running while the bar is open.

Can you plan a corporate retreat in Las Vegas?

Yes. Summerlin gives a quieter base away from the Strip, with golf at TPC Summerlin. We book the venue, plan the sessions and add one interactive evening.

How do you quote a Las Vegas event?

Every Las Vegas event gets a custom quote. It depends on the format, the number of stations and hours, travel, union labor orders at the venue and any Clark County fire permit. Read how we quote, then send us your brief.
