Corporate Magicians for Company Events

Book a corporate magician who works the room at your reception, turns strangers into a small crowd around one trick and keeps the material right for colleagues and clients.

Why hire a magician for corporate event receptions

Roaming acts give guests a reason to stand together and talk, without anyone having to start the conversation.

At a reception, most guests stay with the people they came with. A close-up magician walks up to a group, performs a two-minute trick and leaves them laughing about it. The group now has something to discuss, and often turns to the people next to them to compare notes.

That's why roaming acts work best at receptions, client hospitality evenings and conference mixers, where mixing is the point.

Corporate magician formats and other roaming acts

You pick the moment in your program, and we suggest the act that fits it.

Close-up magic

The magician strolls between groups with cards, coins and borrowed objects. A close-up set usually covers 2 to 4 hours, enough to reach most guests.

Stage magic and mentalism

A show for the whole room, usually 45 to 90 minutes, for audiences of about 100 and up. Mentalism works well for leadership meetings and innovation themes. It needs a stage, lights and sound.

Caricature artists and digital caricature

A caricature artist for corporate events draws a guest in a few minutes. A digital caricature artist draws on a tablet, so guests get a print and a file to share. Both fit galas and holiday parties.

Fortune teller for events and temporary tattoos

A fortune teller or a temporary tattoo artist adds a lighter themed corner. They suit after-parties and themed nights.

What you get

You work with one event team, and the performer arrives knowing exactly what to do.

  • An act matched to your crowd. We ask about the audience, the room and the tone before suggesting anyone.
  • A clear brief for the performer. Arrival time, dress code, the program and anything off-limits.
  • Sound and a stage when needed. Microphones, speakers and lights for a stage show.
  • Other activities from the same team. Interactive stations, photo booths and music in one plan.

What affects the quote

You'll get one quote that covers the performer and everything around them. We don't publish prices. Each booking is quoted on its own, based on:

  • The act and the performer's experience.
  • Set length, close-up or stage.
  • Travel to your city.
  • Stage, sound and lighting.
  • How many acts you combine.

Read how a quote comes together, or send us the date and audience.

Programs we've coordinated

These two show how we plan several activities into one program, which is the job behind any roaming act.

AI Networking Matchmaker and Racing Simulator at TEC6, Culver City

The organizers of an event-industry launch wanted guests to make useful introductions. We ran AI matchmaking and added a racing station for informal time between meetings. Magicians, caricature artists and fortune tellers at events

Here is what each format looks like, from a quick card trick to a full stage set.

  • A close-up magician surprises guests at a networking reception
  • A mentalist on stage with a volunteer from the audience
  • A digital caricature artist draws a guest on a tablet next to a printer
  • A caricature artist sketches two colleagues at a gala
  • A fortune teller reads cards for a guest at a themed party
  • An artist applies a temporary tattoo at an after-party

Venue rules and paperwork

Venues want to know who's coming and what they'll do. We send that before the day.

We share performer names and arrival times with the venue, agree where a stage act sets up and confirm power for lights and sound. We send insurance documents to the venue on request.

Why some acts fall flat at company events

The wrong act at the wrong moment is the usual problem. These are the ones we avoid.

  • A kids' party act.

Jokes that work for ten-year-olds feel awkward in front of a CEO. We book performers who work corporate rooms.

  • Off-color material.

Clean material isn't optional with colleagues and clients. We agree on it before booking.

  • Stage act during dinner.

Guests can't watch and eat at the same time. We move stage acts to after the meal.

  • Booked too late.

Experienced performers fill up months ahead. Send us the date early.

How booking works

Here's how a performer booking moves from your message to the night itself.

  1. Step 1: Tell us the event

    • Date, venue, guest count, audience and tone.
  2. Step 2: Get suggestions and a quote

    • Acts that fit the moment you want to fill.
  3. Step 3: Watch the act

    • We send video of the performer before you decide.
  4. Step 4: Confirm and brief

    • Arrival, dress code, set times and anything to avoid.
  5. Step 5: We set up the room

    • Stage, lights and sound for stage acts.
  6. Step 6: The act performs

    • Our coordinator keeps the timing.
  7. Step 7: We wrap up

    • Then ask how it went.

Who coordinates on the day

  • Coordinator. Meets the performer, walks them through the room and keeps to the schedule.
  • AV technician. Joins for stage acts that need sound and lights.

The performer focuses on the act. Our coordinator handles the rest.

Questions

What is a corporate magician?

A magician who performs for business audiences: clean material, short sets that suit receptions and mixers, and tricks that can carry your brand or product. The act is built for colleagues and clients, not for a family party.

A close-up set usually covers 2 to 4 hours. A stage show runs 45 to 90 minutes.

Close-up or stage: which should we book?

Can the act include our brand or product?

Ask about it. Many performers can work your logo or product into a trick.

Do you also book acts for holiday parties?

Yes. See our holiday party entertainment page.

Can a magician work a trade show booth?
